Departing twice a day, Half-day inshore trips usually last around 5-6 hours and we remain within 1-2 miles from shore.
Full-day offshore
An early departure is recommended to reach the fishing grounds (20+ miles) and allow more time to catch the fish-of-a-lifetime!

Included in your charter:
- Equipment and safety brief.
- Vessel for the trip including fuel, fishing tackle and bait.
- A fully licensed and experienced skipper and deckhand.
- Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages on board.
what's the catch?
Depending on the season, we target one of the bigger species of pelagic fish like Yellowfin and Longfin Tuna, Dorado or Bill-fish like Marlin when they are around.
Seasonal catches also include the prized Yellowtail, Atlantic Bonito and Snoek, as well as various reef fish such as Bronze Bream (Hottentot) and Red Roman.

The owner
Byron Ashington is the owner of the business. He has over 38 years experience navigating the Cape waters as well as False Bay. He is passionate about fishing and the ocean. He holds a number of South African and All Africa Records for Tuna off Cape Town. He is the only angler to hold all Africa records for bigeye tuna, yellowfin tuna and longfin tuna. He also holds SADSAA colors for both angling and skippering at National Level. He is also a World Record Holder.
